Been googling this all evening and getting seriously confused.....
I moved to an apartment block 6 months and brought the Sky box and got it set up, but there was only one cable so the guy that installed it (worked for the management company, didn't go through Sky) did something on the box so that it would run through one wire, so I couldn't watch one channel and record another (I knew this was going to happen)

But I'm after moving again and got the free home move and the engineer came out a few days ago, put up a dish and the two wires and all that BUT its only tonight that I wanted to watch one and record another channel and realised its still set up for record and watch the same channel....

Does anyone know what settings to go into on the box and change it back? I'll ring Sky in the morning, but really don't want to have to listen to crappy music until I crack!

    Thanks :)

    ^^^^ +1 ... Spot on..

I'd say he set it up for the single feed mode.

So follow the instructions from the link above,,and that should fix the problem.
