Depends on the job. I tend to go for something low cut. Play to your strengths and all that.

    That's so wong dude!

OP, have you considered interviewing as a team?

I thought you really were a Ghostbuster. :(

A suit is outdated. Today's modern man wears a tuxedo to interviews, complete with hat, cane and monocle.

Anything as long as its made of kermit the frogs, with a matching kermit hat.

You sound genuine so here's a straight answer: If in doubt suit the bit out.

Black shoes, socks, trousers and suit jacket. A single colour shirt and a plain tie. A good menswear shop will set you right.

They always say to dress for the job you want, so wear a batman costume.

I've actually heard suits can be a detriment. Some places say if you show up wearing a suit, they'll think you "don't fit into the work culture" if they fancy themselves a relaxed workplace. This happened to my friend who got a job at a graphic design company.

Suit pants, a shirt, tie optional maybe?

I had an interview recently in one of those companies. All candidates wore a suit as did many of the employees. I was so glad I played it safe and suited up.

Wear something smart, not necessarily a suit but shirt/tie and pants.
If you are a woman do not wear anything revealing as it will go against you, nothing worse than a woman at an interview dressed inappropriately.

Doesnt matter what the job is... Always wear at least slacks, a tie and a shirt. If you've got a suit jacket why not complete the look (obviously talking about a bloke here :pac: )

Never got the mentality of wearing jeans and a shirt tho. Like you are heading for a night out :pac:

Definitely a suit, men in suits are hot. OP you should just start wearing them all the time!
