    its that simple :) you undo the two philips head screws in the console underneath the head unit, then pop up the dashboard with a flat head screwdriver just above the stereo surround, undo a few more philips screws in there and then the whole stereo and cubby hole/ trip computer and the two vents come out at the once and you're then able to remove the stereo from its cage.

    i have one of those stereos at home in that colour from a 2003 irish micra, free if you want it.
