I know that if I want to stop a google ad I would normally remove the code from the page. But is there a way to just pause all my ads at one time without removing code.
In other words I want to be able to switch on and off my adsense without removing code. Is this possible?

Two templates, one with ads, and the other without would probably be the simplest fix for this, then you can just hot swap between them when you need to

You could also just comment out the code and remove the comment tags when you need the ads back
