    Hi,

Has anyone ever successfully claimed against the council for damage to their cars or bikes caused by potholes?

    Thanks.

Put up pictures of pothole and I'll be able to tell you if you have a valid claim.
Is it obvious that pothole has been repaired before?
Has it developed at edge of trench?
    Value of loss approximately?

yeah I claimed off Dublin CoCo a number of years ago for damage to 2 OPen4 mavic rims I damaged in a club race on the boot inn circuit. I recall a cyclist worked there and he verified the cost was true and accurate. The guy asked me to meet him and show him the pothole which I did and the cheque arrived a week later.

    Hi,

This happened over Christmas holiday. I don't have a picture of pothole, it has been fixed since. I have the wheels that were ruined. I have sent in a claim form to the council, not looking too good though.
