If you have reached 78 days on claim (3 months fully unemployed) you can do the intership.

I actually got the internship, and it does not matter which you are on jobseekers or full welfare.

    Congrats.

It is called Jobseekers if you claim full time or casually. You can do the intership on either. 78 days on claim is a requirement, it takes 3 months to reach 78 days if fully unemployed. If working caually you need to have 78 days claimed in the last 6 months to qualify.

Anybody know the reason for waiting 3 months before being able to do an internship? Surely it is in everybodies interest to be able to do an internship straight away rather than wait 3 months on the dole?
