    Hi everyone,

I'm looking into a CHP feasibility study for a college project for three different buildings, (I don't expect them to be feasible but need to do all the steps and research legislation to complete the project)

The size of the CHP units would be over 40kWe.

What i'm wondering about is the connection to the grid, there's alot of info about micro-generation and that you can supply 6kW limit to the grid but I can't seem to find anything on the process involved for larger generators.

    All help appreciated!!

I think you'll find what you need here.

    Cheers for that.

Can you tell me if there is a standard rate for exporting to the grid above micro generation i.e. generators less than 100kWe?

Or is it regulated in the Single Electricity Market (SEM)?
