Bumping this if that's ok. Looking to transfer the balance of a current AIB card onto something with a lower APR. Can you do this with the click? What is the catch with the click card?

Gernally banks don't do balance transfers between their own products (after all, what's the incentive if you're paying them more on your existing card?). They're to attract new business and new money, not to reduce the money they're making off their own customers.

As for a catch, none really. Apart from the fact it's managed via online banking (and you only get estatements etc).

Split off, as bumping old threads is against the forum charter.

i think there was an issue with a charge uf you were in credit with click, obviously not an issue now but it may be in thefuture when the balance is paid off.

I noticed that it's a 9.1 (or something) % balance transfer. So that is probably one slight catch.
