Just watched Jackie Brown for the first time in a while. I think it's my favourite Tarantino flick. Something strange though in the interview that's on Youtube: at 9'45" Tarantino is talking about Samuel L Jackson remembering watching Pam Grier in a movie theatre "wherever he's from, umm, North Carolina or wherever".

According to Wikipedia and the likes, Jackson is from Tennessee, and Tarantino was born in Tennessee. When Jackson is sitting in a car in one scene outside Jackie Brown's house, "Tennessee Stud" by Johnny Cash is playing on the car radio. So why would Tarantino pretend that he doesn't know where Jackson is from? Weird. And so what, you might say, but it struck me as puzzling.

Most people rathe this film 5*, I've just never liked it THAT much. Much prefer Pulp and Dogs. Even Kill Bill to this.
