Gardai and Laptops.

    I was amazed to hear that Gardaí were using their own personal laptops in the course of their work. I have a real problem with this for the following reasons

    1 Security, are they encrypted? security at home and the threat of theft.

    2 Takes up too much time, get back to the old note book and have a civilian in the station input the details. Gardaí are not computer operators.

    The Forum on Spirituality has been closed for years. Please bring it back, there are lots of Spiritual people in Ireland and elsewhere.

    With the greatest of respect, you really do not understand the conditions these Gardai have to work under. A lot of the time, they can be left standing for one to become free before they can advance a case.

    If you are not satisfied with how AGS perform their duties, please contact the Garda Ombudsman.
