Usual time limit to recieve a fixed Penalty notice for drink driving ?

    Hello all . If someone was caught on the 13th of Jan slightly over the limit . Gave a urine sample an recieved the results back on the 30th of Jan an was between the two set limits for receiving a fine an penalty points .. should they have received the fixed penalty notice by now ? I thought these notices were sent out fairly rapid ??!?

    It would seem odd for such a delay with drink driving.

    In such a case, the accused would to well to have their solicitor make any enquiries.

    Making contact with the law may or may not be the right thing to do in this situation lol .
