Aritech Burglar Alarm

I have an Aritech burglar alarm and it is recently behaving very strangely. Even though it is not activated, it is going off and this seems to occur, sometimes, when I turn on a light switch, a kettle, broadband etc. I feel that there is an explanation for this and would greatly appreciate your help.
