Recognise these window handles?

Trying to save myself the difference between a few keys and a full set of handles, so the insurers can't say they're not actually lockable. An additional benefit would be preventing my 1.5yo from falling out the window, but sure he has to learn... :)

So, does anyone recognise the handles at the link below? (You can click on them to zoom.) No brand on them that I can see, and I bought my house from a liquidator so I've no way of tracking it down.

I'm a bit confused ... the heading on the photo you linked to says Espag, which not coincidently is a manufacturer of window handles ...

It's a type of handle Alun, like cockspur. These particular ones are "cranked", which means they're offset for space between the handle and the frame. Took some research to figure this out. :)

Thanks for the link, loads of them there, looking through them now.

Ah, sorry about that, I just assumed it was a manufacturer's name going by the page I found when I Googled Espag ... funny name for a type of handle if you ask me :D

It stands for espagnolette. I thought it was weird too, and why they couldn't call the "cranked" ones "offset" is beyond me.

Across brands an' all? That'd be fierce handy, are you sure?

they were bought over by VBH, and there web-site is not running yet, give them a ring

Look very very like the global windows handles on my mothers house, but no rust on your ones!

Actually found out what they are with a bit more detective work, but can't remember off the top of my head. Post it tomorrow.

Ok, just in case someone else finds this years down the line, the handles are made by Winlock, and the model name is Custodian. Keys are part number 80007.
