A man dressed as the caped crusader Batman has handed over a wanted man at a Bradford police station before disappearing into the night.

Police said the costumed crime-fighter marched the 27-year-old man into Trafalgar House Police Station in the early hours of 25 February.

The man was charged with handling stolen goods and fraud offences.

Police said: "The person who brought the man in was dressed in a full Batman outfit. His identity remains unknown."

It's hard to tell if it's really batman though with the pixelated mask on him.

I really wanted it to be a proper crime fighter and not some fat bloke in a Halloween costume :(

How is it 2013 and we still don't have a proper superhero?

Maybe it's one of the Fathers for Justice making sure Justice is served on his son.

Can you imagine how mortified the scumbag must've been, to be carted down to the station by Thatman.. :D

People don't have super powers and the would be costumed crime fighting types are a bit of a sad lot.

There was a doc on some of them in the UK. Watch it and weep

I was looking for that, didn't know channel, or name of show. Yer man was probably in it.
Also read something a few days ago, something about the possibility of X-men in the future becoming more realistic..

I think we have more of a chance encountering oddball individuals who can't quite relate to society than Magneto types, myself :D

One comment posted in the name of the neighbourhood police team even said: "We know the male set this up himself."
Does this mean the suspect got one of his mates to dress up as Batman and hand him over?

This is the sort of creativity and humour we should be promoting among our criminal elements.
