    Hey guys,

Bit of a frivolous request here. I recently migrated and lost my 5d MkII charger cable in the process. It's the one that connects the charger pack to the wall. Any idea if regular camera / electronic shops would sell these spare? Or would I be looking at possible repair shops / ebay job?

It's a common enough cable. You will have something else in your house that uses the same one. Possibly a DVD player, stereo or similar.

Yea, thought of that, but unfortunately I didn't bring much with me to Sweden and any electronics I did bring use kettle plugs.

You should be able to pick one up from any electronics shop. Failing that, spark up a conversation with your new neighbours explaining your predicament, borrow one and steal, I mean forget to return it!

The conversation would probably go something like... "Du kabel ger snälla, jag super bra!"

Cheers guys, I'll have a poke around. I just wanted to get an idea if they'd be available in shops or not before I start trapesing around the city :)

Might be better off getting one with a Swedish plug in that case. Any of the ones I use I've cut the cable length down to about an inch. Saves having tangled leads and helps with traveling.

I think you're in Stockholm - try any of the following stores - Siba or Chas Olson (I think) or teknikmagasinet.

If you can get out to Sickla Shopping Center, there's a load of stores there, where you'll find what you're looking for. There's even a tiny teknikmagasinet in T-Centralen, near the food court.
