Most car rental companies require 12 months + driving experience before you can rent a car.

I have only passed the test since Feb this year so was wondering if anybody knew a company that would allow me to rent a car ?

    Thanks.

All of the big companies in Ireland require 1 year minimum afaik, some require 2.

Was hoping to get a car for a weekend just to stay within Ireland.
Most I have come acorss are min 1 year - just thought some crowd might wave that but charge slightly more for the rental.

None will let you in my experience of trying last year.

if you are over 25 then Enterprise did the last time I checked and I used them a heap of times when I had a new licence and a good few times since seeing as their prices are (often) so good - except for the few weeks in Summer and Christmas when they charge bonkers money just like every other hire firm.

Cheers Munchkin - Enterprise will take anybody over 25 regardless if you have licence 10 years or 1 day.

If paying by debit car you need licence & 2 proof of address (utility bill)
Credit card - proof of address isn't needed.
