Sorry to disappoint you Pawlie but Rás Luimní is bascially flat apart from a short bit of a hill coming out of the village of Caherconlish so expect a bunch finish in A4. Last year the finish was moved to the top of this hill to avoid the mad sprint finishes of previous years. In theory it's a good idea however the fighting for positions coming into the last corner is not for the faint hearted. I came around that bend in about 3rd/4th last year and heard a crash behind me. Finished about 10th in the end. Nearly puked with the effort going up that hill. It's a real strong man's finish as last year's winner went on to win Suir Valley 3 Day later in the year!

That's a myth to be honest. Last weekend in Broadford for example was a solo winner (2nd, 3rd and 4th may have come in separately also). There are 'selective' races that break up A4 races every couple of weeks but if you have notions of doing Rás Mumhan, you should be able to drop A4s anyway - hills or no hills.

Sat race in meath finished in a gallop and your chap got up by a few bike lenghts but upto 50 mtrs it was a gallop,I was in it and got to front a too early at 150 mtrs, thought the lads infront would have lasted longer sheilding me but ran outha steem as i did with 75 to go :(

and sundays race in navan was a gallop finish too.Now with sundays race they were places like when we went over the last little climb on last lap to pull away but some lads didnt have it in them, and I was not not going solo as there was a strong headwind on final 15km,

Doing the Mumhan is going to be differant tactics compared to an a4 race considering the team will have a1's and A2's in it,and we will be all working together.

Saying that I still need to get points to get upgraded and If I dont nothing I can do about it
