Hey guys, I'm new to Ireland, right now in secondary school, and I'd like to go to TCD. What are the cost of accomadation in TCD? Student dorm, or however you call it? What is cheaper, living inside the college or outside? How many people live inside, and how many outside? What are the costs for single room, double room? I don't want anything luxury, I'm interested in decent room with internet. And what are the costs of living in Dublin? Is it possible to work and study?
Hope I'll get some information here :)

    I see guys that you're a lot of joking here:D but I really need a serious answers:cool:
    Thanks

As a first year, if you choose College accomodation, you'll be in Trinity Hall. It's about 5km south of the city centre. There's usually 6ish en-suite bedrooms to an apartment with a shared kitchen/living room. Cunningham house, on the same site, is older with 14 people to an apartment (shared kitchen/bathrooms). (single-sex apartments)

I'd recommend Halls, especially if you're coming from abroad. There's a great atmosphere to the place.

It's generally cheaper to rent privately, you can get some idea of the cost of rent from this property website: http://www.daft.ie/

Dublin is still fairly expensive by international standards. Getting a job while studying would depend on the hours of your course.
