theyll be a little bigger, the rolling circumfrence will mean your travelling about 3% faster on them.

heres a good tyre size calculator that tells you the speedo difference

255/65/16 is a fairly close alternative to your stock tyres, they could be handier to get.

thanks for that the 3% wouldnt really bother me its used for work and towing so im never that close to a speed limit. just wanted to know they would fit.

height wise definitely , width I dont know the teranno well but the easiest thing to do is lock the steering fully right and fully left , get under the car and see is there anything close to rubbing the corners, the radius of the 265s are 17 mm larger and theyre 10mm wider on the inside so at full lock your looking for the tyre to be atleast an inch away from anything on the frame.

just checked closest is the mud flap at about 30mm at full lock. could change these not in great shape anyways

The only way you'll really know is by fitting one.
not all 265 width tyres are the same, some are wider due to squarer shoulders like BFG, some have a more round profile and won't rub as easily.

They might look like BFG but I can guarantee you they won't last like BFG's
Real BFG probably aren't much more
Longtrails which are very hardwearing 127 each from here or the ATs which last for abut 40k same place.

If they don't rub then they should be fine. With being 3% bigger you'll have slightly lower revs when cruising at top speed. It affects the gearing slightly so the car won't be as quick off the mark with the larger tyres and the extra width as well. You'll gain some clearance too if you're doing any offloading.

There is no way to know if they'll rub unless you have it on full lock once they are fitted though. If it's a slight rub only and you can live with it and know not to fully 100% lock then it could be ok for you.
