The wifes had it now about 3 yrs. The tracking was off when we bought it and i found the left spring wasnt sitting right. Fixed that and tracked it but it always pulls even after 4/5 trackings. Spring is fine now.
The other day she says theres a noise when turning - i find a small torx bolt loose in behind the airbag! Shes out in it today and says it was hard to turn left(ok now)

Anyone aware of any issues on these??

There was a recall on a steering joint on those. May be unrelated but worth bringing it to the dealer either way.

Do you if the car has been in a smash?

pretty sure the recall was done.

may have been in a crash as we bought it cheapish from a eastern european in naas. knowing a large number of eastern europeans as i do i know that they like to fix up crashed yokes and sell them on ( nothing wrong with that) I did put it on the lift and gave it a good check over and bar putting it on a jig i am happy that theres no issues

On a side note, is that airbag conduit burnt?
