Hi, what questions can you expect to be asked by family members and friends about your sexual orientation. My mum asked me today if i was gay after telling her a few years ago i was and later denying it.So i said yes, i know tonight she will want to ask me questions what can i expect, just so i can prefare myself.I'm 23 so i have a feeling the questions might be invasive.

    Thanks for your help:)

It really depends on the parents that you have, what kind of questions you're going to be asked after coming out. Mine asked me, Did I have a boyfriend? Had I had intercourse with another fella? How did I know I was gay? But all out of concern for me though:)

Any parent that has an interest in their child's life is bound to ask them questions about it to see how they are and in the case of when you tell them that you are gay I think you can expect to receive questions like the ones I have mentioned. Just be calm with your parents/ mother when you're being asked, try not be nervous (easier said than done) and if you feel that what you're being asked is invasive or intrusive then just say that you're not comfortable with the question.

I hope it all goes well for you:)
