    I bought one of these today. It was cheap and I had the money, a spur of the moment thing. Anyway, I was wondering, what the hell is so special about them? Apart from the seats, I can't see whats so different from a normal MK3 Golf. Also, how many of these were made? Wikipedia says they were only produced in 1995 but it doesn't say how many were produced and I can't find much on them on the internet.

    They were made with a little of Jagger's soul in each, i.e, old, unreliable and painfully outdated ;)

    MK3s are really outdated but I must say this one isn't the worst thing in the world. Power steering, a decent steering wheel, bucket seats etc.

    Plus it drove 2 hours last night from Cavan without any bother.

    They are no different.

    VW sponsored gigs back in the day, and just stuck a sticker on the car with the name of a few bands.
