Hi, I'm trying to find out about a conspiracy theory I heard about from my bro. It says that the titanic had free energy on board in the form of backup generators in or under the 4th funnel and was one of the many reasons it was sunk? Anyone heard about this? Also he maintains that part of the Titanic was raised 'somehow' and photographed back in Nov in front of the banking sector in England? I've done a fair bit of googling and can't find anything, would appreciate any info anyone here might have.

There were only white flares available afaik when the titanic was sinking.
That colour is used among sea farers to signal a celebration.
An emergency is a red flare.

The Ct as I saw it was that it was sunk on purpose.By who and why im not sure.
One theory I came across was that the captain was or had links to the jesuits and that it was a plot to kill certain aristocrats for political reasons.

Never heard the theory proposed here.

Heres a pic I found of the proposed engines.

Two of Titanic’s engines lie exposed in a gaping cross section of the stern. Draped in “rusticles”—orange stalactites created by iron-eating bacteria—these massive structures, four stories tall, once powered the largest moving man-made object on Earth.

Yeah one of the CT's is that the aristocrats that opposed the creation of the Federal Reserve were all on the ship when it sank.

Benjamin Guggenheim, Isa Strauss and John Jacob Astor were the prominent ones that were opposed to the Federal reserve, and they had plenty of pulling power until they died on the Titanic.

In 1898 a man named Morgan Robertson penned a book titled "Wreck of the Titan" about a luxury liner deemed unsinkable that was going too fast in the North Atlantic in April and hit and iceberg killing most everyone on board due to lack of lifeboats.

14 years later this fictional book would play out in real life exactly down to the name, with the wreck of the Titanic; but this time it would have major political implications. Some of the wealthiest men in the world were on that ship and some were opposed to the Federal Reserve and central banks.

FACT: JP Morgan funded/built the Titanic
FACT: JP Morgan was booked on the voyage but canceled at the last second.
FACT: Friend of JP Morgan, Milton Hershey, also canceled at the last moment and survived to build the Hershey food empire.
FACT: There were no red flares on board to signal to any boats for rescue. Only white flares that signal a party and that everything is okay.
FACT: It was the first ship of its kind with the ability to seal decks electromagnetically which could also seal people below deck.
FACT: The Captain Edward Smith was one of the most decorated Captains of his time and would have been totally out of character by avoiding precautions.
FACT: The author of the book was poisoned to death a couple years after the Titanic sank.
FACT: The Federal Reserve was formed the very next year.
FACT: The Astor Family was one of the richest families in the world and John Astor opposed the Federal Reserve.

The Captain of the Titanic was Edward Smith. He was a Jesuit and worked for J.P. Morgan. Anyone could be a Jesuit and their identity not be known. >From National Geographic 'The Secrets of the Titanic,' (1986)

A bit off topic, and no I never heard of the free energy thing.

Thanks for the replies guys, interesting the alternative theories about the Titanic. A little bit of background to this, we suspect my bro is having a breakdown as he sent a rather bizarre group email a few days ago outlining beliefs ranging from unusual (free energy, freemasons, titanic) to the paranoid, culminating in him saying he's in fear of his life and believes he will either be executed or driven insane at work because of what he knows about free energy. We've all spoken to him and he's quite lucid but says he wrote the email as he was 'overwhelmed with fear' and thought the best way of protecting himself and his family was to get the information out there. Me and my bro always had an interest in conspiracy theories though I'd always maintained a healthy skepticism. He seems to be taking alternative theories and beliefs as absolute fact though we suspect work related stress is playing a large part in this. The email is online, if anyone wants to have a read PM me for a link

What does he work at? I'm and engineer and work in R&D in Ireland and I like the odd conspiracy,(my contract says that I will never tell the world what I'm doing)doesn't prove he's mad, just thinking a lot. How is he in fear for his life ?

By the way way I'm not doing anything mental, just tech stuff.

Well i also fell for alot of stuff when I first waded into the CT world.
I had come from a chaotic background and had trouble finding my feet at first.
After a while thigns settle down and with alot of research and an open mind some Ct's become fantasy and others stay.
Alot of the time Ct's are about throwing "s1t at a wall and seeing what sticks" to quote a college instructer lol
Takes longer for some to get grounded again.
Hope your bro pulls through.Stress can have a strong effect on anyone.

Cheers, in all the time I've spent researching conspiracy theories I've yet to be fully convinced by a single one. I don't doubt conspiracies occur, just not as portrayed by Alex Jones et al. My bro is taking 8 weeks from work so hopefully the rest will do him good and allow his grip on reality to return.

    Couple true facts in there-

They did bring up a few large pieces ok- a large section of the side of the ship has been preserved- it went in display recently.

    http://static.ddmcdn.com/gif/titanic-pictures-12.jpg

And the funnel- there were 3 working funnels and the fourth was an empty dummy - just to make it look right - you can see in all the photos no smoke came from this one.

Don't know how he managed to tie in free energy to this though.... Ive heard plenty cs about titanic but havn't heard that one....

    “Roll it back”

FACT: There were no red flares on board to signal to any boats for rescue. Only white flares that signal a party and that everything is okay.
At the time of the disaster, there was no commonly agreed system for distress flare colours. The Titanic, being a White Star liner, carried white distress rockets. The problem arises when nearby ships, such as the SS Californian commanded by Captain Lord in this case, are not aware that they are distress flares.

So...not really so much of a "FACT" then.

Sorry to hear about your brother btw OP, hope he can sort things out.
