Today while play my 8 iron over a lake the head of the club came clean off and straight into the lake never to been seen again. Does anyone know anywhere that has a good stock of 2nd hand clubs? I have looked on Adverts.ie, Done Deal and buy and sell but there aren't any for sale at the minute, so just wanted to see if anyone would have a random Ping Eye 2 Blue dot 8 Iron (stiff) in their garage they would be willing to sell, failing that i would be willing to buy an entire set for the right price.
    Cheers

    Did you ebay or golfbidder.co.uk?

Nothing on golfbidder but i have mailed them in case they have something that isn't on the site. There is a set on ebay but they are regular shaft, mine are rifle 5.5 but I'd settle for stiff if i got em.

    Try ironfinder.com

    http://www.ironfinder.com/Individual-Irons/ping/eye2_(pat._pending)-82.htm

39 usd not sure if shafts are the same. They are reputable I know of two people who were delighted with what was sent.

This guy might be able to help:

Also, I think Ping are one of the few companies that will make up a replacement club of an old model. Contact your local Ping stockist and they can order it for you. Obviously not ideal as you'll pay a bit more and end up with a shiny new club - upside is you can spend a week on the range to get it to match the rest of the set!

If you take the serial number off one of the other clubs to you Pro or Ping Retailer, Ping will make a new one for you to the very same spec, it'll take about 2 weeks.
    Hope that helps.

Cheers for the links folks, it not looking good for a cheap replacement, might just have to treat myself to a new set a year early
