Carlow to leixlip route help

Hey planning on cycling Carlow to leixlip if anyone's done this could they please advise on best routes. Easier the better just getting into the bigger spins at the mo.

Old N9 up through Castledermot-Kilcullen-Naas, from there the obvious route would be Clane-Celbridge and on to Leixlip but that is a busy road so it might be as well to go a little across country, something like this.

I'd be heading up the N9 through Castledermot-Kilcullen-Naas, from there to Sallins. Take a right in Sallins (right after the canal) and straight on to Straffan. From there you're only a couple of minutes from Barberstown roundabout and into Celbridge and then Leixlip.

To alcohol thanks was thinking that looked like the best route alright saw some people heading for baltinglass direction but seemed a fair bit longer and harder.
