I'm going over for the Tuesday & Wednesday, but haven't got tickets yet. I'm looking to get club tickets.

Would you recommend buying them in advance, although they're not discounted anymore, or can I just wait and pay at the gate on the day.

    Thanks for any advice.

Buy in advance, as the queue on tuesday could be serious enough.

I'd buy in advance. The queues can be slow. Even if you just buy a Tattersalls ticket you can purchase the Club upgrade once inside. Thats if you feel you cant sneak into the Club without the upgrade.

If its not sold out just buy em outside

You might save a small amount & not have to queue. I'm not sure if the "print at home" service is available for the festival but if it is I'd be very wary of buying these kind of tickets from a tout. Who's to say (s)he hadn't printed several copies out

The touts can be hit and miss. Sometimes you might get one for half price and more times they might be double the price.

Gold Cup day is the only day I'd prebook, you'll get them outside for discount prices or someone will "walk you in" for a fraction of the face value on the other 3 days.
