Anyone found a really good iPad drum app? All the ones I've tried are extremely crash-prone or in some way shoddy.

Theres meant to be a great new one for tuning real acoustic drums. Will try and get the name for it. I don't own an Ipad myself.

Hi. Not sure if you are looking for an app which allows you to play/create drum sounds, or one which plays pre-installed rhythms. Assuming its the latter, I have Drum Beats+ on my iPhone and find it very good. However there are a couple of issues.
You'll need a cable to connect audio out to your amplifier - may need to be a long cable depending on your set up.
You will also probably need to have your iPhone/Pad plugged in to power. Apps running continuously like this eat up your battery.
I have not been able to find a reasonable priced method of pausing the output. Ideally I would like a pedal which could start stop and pause.
Been trying to get my hands on an iRig as I understand this might be a solution!
    That's all I've got!!c :)

I really should have been a bit clearer about what I was looking for - these are all interesting looking app suggestions but I am after something to create patterns and then email/share them direct from the iPad.

The nearest I've got is Drums XD which has a nice selection of sounds and all the functionality, but for some reason will only record at 128bpm. You can set the metronome to whatever you like, and it will then beep away at its own tempo while the recorder sticks to its fixed one. So your count in is also at a different tempo to the one the metronome is playing. Impossible to play to. Essentially these apps seem to be buggy as hell.
