Has anyone on here ever been to the Kremlin in Belfast?

My irritating cousin wants to go there, and well I don't want to go to a gay bar with him!! Also considering I have to drive back south tomorrow I can't drink much so I doubt I would be drunk enough to enjoy it!

    What is it like anyway?

Its ok - its a bit like the dragon

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I'm going there next weekend. I don't go that often so I'm not sick of it like most gays who I talk to who are from the area, who go there every weekend and see the same faces etc. I have to say I like it. I also like Union Street, which is in the same building but around the corner. They do the Sunday Bingo Show and Tranny-oke on a Saturday afternoon. It's more relaxed and more of a pub type place as opposed to Kremlins night club style. Did you end up going? What did you think of it?

I didn't like it to be honest.

Within the first 30mins a guy came on to me apparently he wanted to hookup with a "Cute Twink" and saw me and kinda knocked me off for the night. Since I had to drive home to Dublin earlier I didn't drink much at all so I could get drunk and enjoy it more.

    Surely a compliment.

At least you get people coming on to you! Take it as a compliment!

Did someone you had no interest in coming on to you really put you off for the night? All you had to do was say 'no thanks' and move away from him, end of story. He he followed you or pursued you, simply tell him you're not interested and if he continues to hassle you, report him to a bouncer. Hard to believe you let something that happens quite often in any sort of bar put you off that bar. Then again, I've never had anyone show interest in me in a gay bar, maybe there's more to it than I think!

Agree with this. If you're on your own, it's hard to get away from. If you're with people you just gotta ignore them or tell them where to go or report if they start getting aggressive about it. Don't let them put you off having a good night. It's nothing that a girl in Coppers doesn't have to deal with every now and then

I know I know, I have a major problem with stuff like that. I just always think the worst of people, I am one of those people who just can't take a compliment
