I want to transfer the address book of an old phone to an iphone 5. Can't use the SIM as it's a standard one.

Does anyone know how to add the contents of a vcard received by sms to iphone 5 contacts?

    Thanks in advance

I've thought about sending each contact to the iPhone via sms in the form of a Vcard but is there a better way?

The contacts are on a Sony Ericcson k300i which I've borrowed to transfer my contacts to (via SIM back-up) as my other phone was even older.

Is there a way of synchronising between the two devices?

If so could you possibly provide step-by-step instructions as I'm not tech savvy :">?

Otherwise what would be the quickest way to input multiple contact details?

    Thanks in advance

Use Sony pic suite to copy them to windows contacts and then in iTunes click the iPhone and on the summary or info tab you will see an option for syncing contacts. Check that box and select windows contacts from the drop down list.

Failing that go to iCloud.com on a PCM and sign in with your apple id. Click contacts and then click the + and add each contact

Yep. Ideally you want to send them as one complete v card to another phone/device with bluetooth and then email them to yourself. Check your email on your iPhone and it will allow you to open the attachment and import the contacts.

    Use iCloud.
