ATM. Use a proper bank and ask your bank which one charges no fees.
Never ever ever ever change money at the 24 hour kiosks, complete rip off.

AIB will charge a fee for a non-Eurozone transaction. Check the fees. I know with ptsb it costs up to €11 to withdraw cash outside the Eurozone.

ATM when you get there, avoid Bureaux du Change, especially in airports, they are a total rip-off.

Some banks charge a flat fee for non-Euro withdrawals, in many cases this means that you need to minimize the number of withdrawals you make so work out how much money you think you'll spend, then double it (and bring half the clothes you think you'll need) and take out that much from an ATM when you get there.

OK maybe that's not good advice in case you're spotted taking a wad of notes from an ATM in a public place but make sure not to be taking out lots of small amounts as you may get a shock when you get home.
