I love the production element of WWE, the stages, ramps lighting etc. I find it fascinating.

My favourite set of all time is Wrestlemania X Seven. It just looked so classy.
My favourite TV stage would be the original RAW IS WAR set, the 'Ovaltron' Smackdown was pretty cool also.

Royal Rumble 2000 was a sweet entrance way. The taxi cab over the entrance (where Jeff Hardy did a Swanton from thorough a table) and the gritty back street alley were Cactus and HHH had a street fight. Loved that set, captured the mood perfectly. MSG was rocking that night...

Also liked Backlash 2000. The swinging hooks were cool. Nice thread idea.

    Booo
You took the best 2 ones. I remember an armageddon one too where the set had burnt out cars etc that was kewl enough.
The worst are the british ones a mailbox and a red double decker bus cringe.
Loved the old mania ones with the tunnel style entrance around XV. The Summerslam 98 gate was great at MSG.

Really liked the smackdown set with the giant fist and the two screens either side of it.

Also the backlash 2001 stage that Shane McMahon jumped off always stuck in my mind, probably more for that bump than anything. It was also swinging hooks much like backlash 2000. It was probably the same set.

One of my favourite parts of a pay per view, especially when I was younger, was the start, seeing the pyro and then the staging.

As the OP mentioned, wwe's production standards are excellent.

WM 24 in the Citrus Bowel is another nice one. I loved the canopy with the light rigging over the ring. Apparently they spent a fortune dressing the stadium, I remember Michael Hayes on a roundtable discussion talking about how run down and neglected the place looked when the trucks rolled in a few days before Mania.

    The IYH set was cool.

King of the Ring 01 with the giant throne and the glass panels that Angle twatted Shane through was class too.

I liked the SD! fist set until they stopped using the ramp.

Not a fan of the new Raw/SD! sets at all,so boring.

The big electric chair at King Of The Ring 2001 always stands out to me, along with the Backlash sets of 2000 and 2001.

Agreed that these "HD" sets these days are awful.

Survivor Series 2002, with the splitting titantron opening for the wrestlers to walk out. It was another great MSG set. Just as well cause the walkway to the ring is far too short - imagine Ultimate Warrior trying to get to 60mph on that little thing.

I was there, the Citrus Bowl on tv looked great, the arena itself is an absolute dump, and its in a sh1t neighbourhood.

    I like this raw stage:
