Was looking through a recent thread, where things people posted years ago were dredged up and quoted forth. This kinda bothered me on a few levels. One, why would you be 4rsed trawling someones history, and two, why would you be 4rsed trawling someones history? Are you a digger of old graves, or is that somthing that a. would never dawn on you and b. jasus, creepy, get a life. Personally, I, an option a and b. person. Just wouldn't be honestly bothered. Would you? Are you a bit of a Detective Dibble IRL as well?

No, but it's nice to see that Dibble got a promotion after all the crap Top Cat put him through.

think am aware of the thread are on about, and if its the same one-that wasnt fair because its perfectly normal for people to be able to change their thinking after all that time-it doesnt always suggest trolling.

on some forums more than others, checking peoples posts when have got an indication something isnt right can be needed because its getting more common for wasters to take advantage of the 'blind faith' shared by many a user of support or disability or mental health forums, some forums leave the basic moderation up to the users so when a forum is being overtaken by one persons new sockpuppets-registering many every single day and each one used for bullying, abusing, taking advantage of users trust and blind faith and redirecting support away from those who really need it-there needs to be some community responsibility going on.

checking up past posts shoudnt be used in some silly one upmanship game like the page tree thread yesterday, but communities shoud be aware of who they are dealing with and use it to confirm or get rid of suspicions-its about safety, some people do change their entire lives-or other aspects of themselves to gain pity and attention or groom people regardless of age, have seen it happen, have been the 'victim' of it.

When I have a hunch about a suspected multiple rereg yep definitely

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

We all change out views on things, life is a learning experience and sometimes you cannot understand things until you experience them.

You have our undying gratitude. Must also get quite dull. Trolling is another activity I'm not too sure I get the "buzz" of. Why bother? would once again be my attitude. It's an internet forum, people come and go, people type out an "opinion", which, because they were drunk/in bad form/in their flowers/had a row/testosterone rush/high/in great form, they later don't actually agree with themselves. Years later, some DI Dibble dregs it up and flings it out there again. It's like having a chat down the pub with your Auntie video-ing the whole conversation for endless posterity. Feck off Auntie, in fairness.:)

You could hit them with your red baton first.

I'm not prepared to flute around with your back-door Baton. To me, it's a red head-tapper. Not an up-your-endo-scope.
