Thinking of ex a year on...

Hi, my long term gf broke up with me around year ago and yet I still find myself thinking of her from time to time. I posted on this website when we broke up and I was devastated and received many really helpful replies. Comparing myself between now and then it's like i'm a different person. I've interacted with more people and done way more things with myself. I've got cool stuff lined up for the summer. I'm still not totally happy with certain things such as lack of sex life, and probably not having as many friends as I would like in order to keep me constantly busy, but on the whole things are better.

The strange thing is that I feel as if i'm completely over her - yet she still comes into my head from time to time and I've no idea why. It's quite frustrating really when broken up a year and thinking you're moving on. But i'm not sure if I actually meet the criteria for moving on if she randomly comes into my head at least 3 or 4 times a week, probably more. Will this ever stop?

What you are experiencing is memories. Unfortunately you'll never shake them. You'll always be reminded of her in some way or another. There is not a single thing you can do about it my friend.

Just remember: A memory is a memory and nothing more.
