    Hi all,

I have an original DM800 on a rev j motherboard with a rev k tuner. Im getting that glitching issue on HD channels once the tuner heats up. I was wondering if anyone knows if the tuners are backward compatible, ie will a rev m work on my motherboard. Also has anyone come across a compatibility matrix for the tuners?

I have seen some tuners on ebay but they say that they are not compatible with older boxes (im pretty sure i got mine close to launch)

    Cheers

I think once its not a clone you shouldn't have a problem with dreambox branded pieces of kit, you may have to upgrade the firmware though to get newer ones to work.

    I've a DM 800 about 2 years & recently replaced the tuner to a Rev M one......

    Works grand
