Bleeding rayburn 480k

    Hi,

We have a rayburn 480k in our house and we ran out of oil last week. Now that we have refilled the tank we want to bleed the boiler so it will work again. I thought to do this we removed the pressure gauge connection and let the boiler run, hitting the reset button until oil started to come through. This does not seem to be working though after many attempts of hitting the reset button. Am I doing something wrong or do we have another problem.

I would greatly appreciate if someone could shed some light on this.
    Thanks a million.
