There will always be an arguement over the quality of branded versus unbranded as a lot is down to personal preference.

However there are ways to save a fortune without compromising on quality or taste on some daily basics ie sandwiches for school/ work

    See attached example

    Savings €10.92 weekly

    Yearly Savings €567

To save you the hassle of downloading it, here are the contents of the spreadsheet:

    ----
5x sliced pans €10 (Branded) €3.75 (Lidl) (Unbranded)
Low fat Spread €2.15 (Branded) xx (Aldi) (Unbranded)
Cheese 1 kg €10 (Branded) €6.29 (Lidl) (Unbranded)
    ----
    Totals: €22.15 €10.04 - Saving of €12.11

I must say. Am amazed at how much savings are made per year by just switching 3 products.
I would probably only buy half of those quantities though.

Well get on your sweaty feet about it. No point in being blue about it. (Sweaty feet and blue, there is a joke in there somewhere: ask stilton if you don't believe me.)
