Garlic - no sign of life

I planted a shed load of garlic cloves, elephant garlic and onion sets last October, all proper seed stock. As of today the elephant garlic is 8 inches high and the onion stalks are 4 inches high. But no sign of life from the garlic. I dug a few cloves and they are still dormant! Any advices: Am I shooting blanks here with…

Any advices: Am I shooting blanks here with the garlic or are they naturally very late to sprout?

Sorry I can't help you out with an explanation but I've seen a few posts like this in the last couple of weeks - no shoots, no roots. There's something odd going on. Mine on the other hand are romping away Sorry
