    Hi Folks,

I noticed the other day, size warnings on C partition. The partition is 60 GB with mainly vista and program files. Moved about 5 gb dataoff and refreshed explorer and could see the recent space being consumed. Pulled the n/w and this stopped.

Have ran MS security essential full scan safemode and ran malwarebytes in normal mode and nothing found.

Any suggestions appreciated am in unkown territory here.

    Thanks,
    MAJJ

    probably not a virus

    Download OTL to your Desktop
    • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
    • Click the Quick Scan button. Do not change any settings. The scan wont take long.
    • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
    • Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files here

Thank you. I think it is winrar using a temp folder that is using the space.

    Appreciate the response.
