Hi guys,

Not sure if this is the right place for this post but I am getting this error when trying to access phpMyAdmin:

Error MySQL said: #1045 - Access denied for user '{root}'@'localhost'

phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. I have read that i need to go to the c drive/wamp/apps and change the password. However i cant find the wamp folder any where on the c/drive. I can only see xammp folder.

all suggestions welcome

Might sound like a dumb question but have you ruled out that it's not running on xampp? If you're not sure then check your installed programs to see if you have both.
