Lease ended a year ago and now electricity bill

    hi all,
    i had a 1 year lease on premises which finished last April. Today i got a call from Electric supplier saying I owed them 650 from April to current. I told them I haven't been in the premises.

    Am I liable for this bill? Obviously the subsequent tenant is using electricity?

    Did you transfer the account into your name when you moved in and back into the LL's name when you left?
