Mulch Lawn or Normal Cut for the first time

    As the title says would I be better off mulching my lawn or giving it a trim normally. It will be the first cut for about 4 - 5 months the grass is pretty long so will most likely have the mower set to the highest or second highest cut.

    I would definitely collect the grass clippings at least for the first few cuts of the season. When the weather is warmer the grass clippings will break down quicker and will be less likely to cause disease problems.
