Migrating Twitter followers

    I am setting up a new twitter account in a similar vein to the existing one.Is it possible to migrate followers to the new account - what is best appproach

    I don't believe so..they would have to choose to follow the new account.

    BuffyBot is correct, all you can do is ask them to follow the new account.

    I'd recommend doing the move gradually, keep the old one open for a couple of weeks just tweeting that you are moving over to the new account and asking people to follow you there instead. Tweet that a few times over a period of time (not every hour or anything that will annoy people) to catch as many of your followers as possible.

    The best thing you can do is tweet about the new account and add a link to it in the bio
