Irish Tattoo conventions

Hi all,

Does anyone have a complete list of all the tattoo conventions in the country as I would be interested in visiting some of the smaller conventions.

There's Dublin, Belfast, Donegal, Midleton, and I believe Cork city is holding it's first this year. There was also a traditional tattoo festival in Cobh that ran for a few years.

There's a Kerry convention happening this summer too. We're being spoiled!

I'll definitely be going to the Galway one. So many excellent artists working in Galway, Clare and Limerick that it will be worth the trip.

About time we had one in Galway. The amount of tattoo places in the city alone is insane. Very excited about this. Also means no travelling for me.

Noob question here for conventions.

How do you get something done at one? Do you pre-book with an artist you know is going to be attending? Or do you go down and have a look on the day?

Bit of both I'm thinking!

It's generally a bit of a both the more popular artists well be pre booked so if you really have something in mind best of emailing them beforehand and making arrangments and discussing what you have in mind.

But you may also pop in and get something spur of the momment, if you get an artist who is free.
