You call them up tomorrow and ask for a refund.

Is it a debit or credit card? If it is a credit card then ring your credit card company also and get them to stop one of the payments. When you pay with your credit card the retailer doesn't get to take the money straight away, all they are authorised to do is reserve an amount from your credit balance. Your credit card company or bank will then authorise payment usually a few days later once the transaction has been validated.

Not sure if a debit/laser card works the same way as it is actually authorising payment from your funds in your current account rather than a line of credit.

From bitter experience. Getting a refund can take 5-10 working days, which is ridiculous, as they can take the money instantly.
How come they can take it, but not give it back, is a mystery, know only to the greedy beggers, who hold on to your cash for as long as possible.

This isnt a motoring topic in the slightest.. I would ring my Card Issuer and report an un-auth transaction. And maybe be more careful pressing submit on websites experiencing timeouts in future.

how could i be more careful when i have no idea the site would experience a timeout, i only clicked purchase once. i would of thought car insurance would of been a motoring topic. or maybe it belongs in the arts and crafts section
