Is anyone having freezing issues?

In the last month, blops2 has been Freezing my ps3 to bits, requiring a hard reset.

I've read its a very common problem but im wondering if anyone has or knows of any solutions - I deleted and re-installed the 1.07 patch which has allowed me to get maybe 1.5 games before a freeze but that in itself is ridiculous.

If there is a thread on this please direct me to it, I had a quick look but didnt see anything.

I got this a lot, game stopped working completely after various updates.

Turns out the update patches corrupted my install files.

I suggest you delete the "Installed Texture File" and game patches

NOT your save games.

Thanks, I never did install the texture thing but when I did (as various people reccomended to stop the issue) it helped a little, I uninstalled the patch but have to re-install it when next online so not much point really!
