Looks pretty impressive actually, wouldn't mind giving it a try, though I'd probably become completely obsessed with it if I got one

Is there not a pile of swing analyser apps? Never used them myself, but nearly sure they have been around for a few years.

Sure there are, but they all seem to use a camera, usually the one on a smartphone. This seems to be leagues beyond this in terms of the data it gathers and uses.

Yep, I think I just skipped over the whole second paragraph:o, read it as the phone was the device.
Sound like it could be good, but $200 is expensive and it would need to weigh next to nothing.

Agreed on the price, Senna. The device fits the club just below the grip, and weighs in at under an ounce. As it attaches so near the fulcrum point of the club, I'd guess the "effective weight" of it would then be less than 1/8th of an ounce, but I'm no engineer, and doubt my own guesstimate here.

Might just have a present sorted out for later in the year!

200 bananas is a bit much, although if you were to compare it to the price that some like the charge for a few professional lessons..

There's loads of these around now....Swingbyte (2), SwingSmart, GolfSense, 3Bays GSA and now this from SkyCaddie

    Here's a comparison of some:

I'm waiting until one emerges as the clear winner and then will invest in time for some indoor practice next Winter...but the SkyPro looks really useful.

Alternatively if I win the lotto I'll buy a Trackman :D
