Hey I'm Siobhán, I'm currently in 5th yr and we're looking into courses for the future. I've been thinking about Psycology and I'd love to do it but the points are so high, I was wondering if there is any backdoor routes into psycology?

Oh and courses suggested need to be Ireland, N.Ireland or Scotland for financal reasons

I don't know what you consider high points to be or if you consider IT's to be a back route into Psychology but the two IT's below offer BA's/BSc in Psychology and Applied Psychology.

The points are achievable and there's nothing wrong with IT's. Both courses are around the 385 mark.

Anyway if you're intent on going to a university, you can always do your specialised post-grad in a university.

WIT's course is accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland atm. I don't have a clue about IADT's one.

Also as far as I know the majority of universities in Ireland offer Psychology as a subject through arts. That's something worth looking into and again, points are relatively low.

Hope that's of some help to you.
