    Hi,

Looking for a bit of help here.

I am looking to get rid of an old car.Scrap it.

Its a 00 car the head gasket is gone and probably needs a new battery too.I dont think its worth repairing even though I have no car now.

Just wondering if anybody could tell me the name of a scraper in dublin that would buy it off me ? or how much i'd get for it..

I am a bit wary of done deal as i dont want to be getting toll tickets in the posts a few months later (read some posts here ). If someone knows the reputable advertisers there even that could help me?

Thanks for your replies in advance

Hi op this place has been spoken well of on here http://www.summerhillspares.ie/

What car is it and it may be worth getting an independent garage to fix for you.

what car is it? is the head gasket gone across a water gallery? if so i may have something to repair your car with that seems to be getting good results

Not sure whats gone. I was just told head gasket and that i could repair it but i'd be better off just replacing the engine ? (i know nothing about cars ).

I spent a bit on it over time so i think it might be better to part ways rather than throwing another 500 into it.

Do you think it would be worth putting more money into it and keeping it ?
