Apologies if this is not the right forum, but I not sure where to post this request.Im looking for some nice bodhran loops/background sounds for an irish kids app im working on- its an interactive/book game. I can't find anything on the interweb, from the usual sound sites,so im hoping someone might have come across some which are free to use,or relatively inexpensive bodhran samples, which I could use. Thanks in advance!

Why not ask a Bodhrán player to do it for you. Plenty of the around and I'm sure there would be a few that would be proud to have an "App".

Thank you trad,I had not considered that option at all!
To have real authentic traditional/bodhran music in the app, would be amazing, and Id be happy to chat with anyone vaguely interested in that option about my project. I won't make false promises of revenue splits etc,but at a minimum,I would certainly put together a nice credits screen to do the musician justice!

Why don't you try UL ? They do degree programmes there for traditional music, might be an interesting project for them.
