Recently, I was prescribed Augmentin for a persistant sore throath which thankfully seems to be getting better. I only went to the doctor about my throath but I always had a naggy tootchache (maybe a few days a month) which the dentist did her best to find and fix, but to no avail.
Also there was a strong smell off my urine while having a pee (real pissy smell). Heres my Question !
My sore tooth and urine problems have dissapeared since I started taking the antibiotics so obviously there was a bacteria problem somewhere so would taking a course of antibiotics say, once a year be of benifit to flushing out the system ? I had bad diaorrea for the first 2 days but feel kinda lighter and better now.
I would welcome any comments as I am not a medical person, just speaking from experience. Thanks
